minFraud APIs

Why use MaxMind's APIs?

  • Save time. Call API code instead of writing your own HTTP calling and parsing code
  • Built-in support for automatic failover to the backup server in case the primary server goes down
  • PHP, Java and Perl APIs are Open Source and free to use

PHP, Java, Perl, ASP and ColdFusion APIs
Download APIs for MaxMind Credit Card Fraud Detection service. The license key required by the APIs is available for registered users. The ASP, .NET, MS SQL and ColdFusion APIs are unsupported. The use of the .NET API is not recommended, due to the fact that it throws a fatal error if the city is not found, and does not support some of the newer input and output fields. For .NET we recommend using our HTTP or SOAP interface. We do have full support for the PHP, Java and Perl APIs.

Documentation
The input and output fields are documented on our website. Each one of the APIs includes an example program that can be modified for your setup.
